The CLS series loudspeakers are a miniature column array specifically designed for the needs of distributed public address and background music. The array characteristic narrows vertical dispersion, increasing the throw, and minimizing unwanted reflections and coverage. The CLS sound columns offer a slim line, visually appealing speaker ideal for spaces sensitive to clean architectural design. Perfect for reverberant applications that require clarity, articulation such as transportation centers, cathedrals, and other public areas.

The CLS series comes in two driver sizes and up to four standard lengths. The CLS2 version uses 2" drivers and a tweeter, and is available in 4 lengths. The CLS3 version uses 3" drivers and a tweeter and is available in three lengths. The larger speaker size and the longer lengths display characteristics of lower frequency response, higher maximum output, and tighter vertical coverage angles. The CLS Series can also be ordered in custom lengths and powder coat colors.

The column loudspeaker shall be a slim column array with 2" drivers or 3’ drivers with a high frequency tweeter. The connection to the loudspeaker shall be screw terminals concealed behind the speaker’s end cap. The loudspeaker shall be encased in an extruded aluminium housing powder coated flat black and covered with a metal perforated metal grille with a matching finish. The low frequency limit shall be from 380 Hz with a sensitivity of 94 dB in the smallest 2" version, to a low frequency limit of 180 Hz with a sensitivity of 97 dB in the longest 3" version. The column loudspeaker shall be the Klein + Hummel CLS2 or the CLS3 series.
